TVO Capital Management LLC (“TVO Capital”), which was established in 2010, is the new real estate investment management arm of TVO Groupe LLC (“TVO”), from where all the investment activities of TVO will now be managed. As the dedicated investment management platform of TVO, TVO Capital now brings private equity real estate investment fund management capabilities to the TVO operating platform, which itself has been a highly experienced operating principal and sponsor of investment grade real estate assets since 1983. TVO has been the managing principal and operating partner over the last 18 years, together with leading institutional capital partners, of owned, managed and/or developed property assets located in 21 states of the United States (“US”) with a large concentration in the sunbelt region from Florida to Texas. TVO is a family-owned US real estate investment, development, management and advisory company founded by brothers Wayne A. Vandenburg and Russell A. Vandenburg in 1983.

Investment Strategy

In terms of geographical focus, TVO Capital will concentrate on its core area of expertise and provide investors, through closed-end private equity real estate funds, with a diversified exposure through investments in a mix of urban, growth-oriented and high barrier-to-entry markets across the US. TVO Capital is also able to target additional markets as the US economy improves, however it will primarily focus on markets where the 27 year experience of TVO has been gained and where the professionals of TVO Capital team have traditionally built a credible investment pipeline and developed a sound investment track record. In terms of sector focus, TVO Capital pursues a strategy focused on the acquisition of Core-Plus multifamily community property assets with clear potential for enhanced Added Value investment opportunities which provide investors with suitable diversification while maximizing investment returns. Investments are targeted in the stable multi-family residential housing sector which has been the historical focus of TVO. TVO Capital believes that this investment strategy can provide excellent total return potential, with a strong element of stable current income generation, particularly in the context of the current US economic environment over the near and medium-term. Based upon their longstanding experience, TVO Capital expects the targeted U.S. sunbelt regions of the southeast, southwest, and west coast markets to provide outstanding value opportunities as well as a provide a favorable market for attractive valuations at such time a decision is made to harvest the assets.

In the future, TVO Capital plans to enter new investment markets outside of the US in the stable and growing economies of Central Europe where TVO has developed a strong and institutional quality operating presence. Its Central Europe focus will be primarily centered around Poland, Hungary, Slovakia and the Czech Republic where TVO Europe’s operating platform is headquartered in the Czech Republic capital city of Prague. In pursuing this expansion plan, TVO Capital will ensure that these initiatives are managed by dedicated and professional teams that are fully integrated within the TVO platform with longstanding presence and experience; currently, TVO Europe Property Services manages over 5 million square feet of commercial and residential investment quality properties for institutional investors in the aforementioned markets.
