TVO Capital Management LLC (“TVO Capital”), which was established in 2010, is the new real estate investment management arm of TVO Groupe LLC (“TVO”), from where all the investment activities of TVO will now be managed. As the dedicated investment management platform of TVO, TVO Capital now brings private equity real estate investment fund management capabilities to the TVO operating platform, which itself has been a highly experienced operating principal and sponsor of investment grade real estate assets since 1983. TVO has been the managing principal and operating partner over the last 18 years, together with leading institutional capital partners, of owned, managed and/or developed property assets located in 21 states of the United States (“US”) with a large concentration in the sunbelt region from Florida to Texas. TVO is a family-owned US real estate investment, development, management and advisory company founded by brothers Wayne A. Vandenburg and Russell A. Vandenburg in 1983.

Wayne A. Vandenburg Chairman & CEO - TVO Capital Management

Mr. Vandenburg began his career in the real estate industry in 1978. As Chairman & CEO of TVO Capital Management, his primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to, managing the day-to-day operations as well as planning, negotiating and structuring investment relationships with institutional partners and providing leadership to the platform; over the last 18 years, TVO’s relationship with institutional investors where it has performed as the Managing and Operating Partner at the asset level has been quite successful. Mr. Vandenburg completed his undergraduate and graduate studies at the University of New Mexico (“UNM”) and later served on the staff of the University of Texas at El Paso (UTEP). Before launching his real estate career, he was active in intercollegiate athletics both as an athlete and later as the Assistant Track & Field Coach at the University of New Mexico before becoming the Head Track & Field and Cross Country Coach at the University of Texas at El Paso (“UTEP”). Following his career in intercollegiate athletics, he held a number of administrative and consultancy positions with professional sports teams and leagues including the NFL, ITA, and IVA.

Mr. Vandenburg is an active member of numerous national trade organizations including the Board of Directors of the National Multi-Housing Council (“NMHC”), the Urban Land Institute (“ULI”) and the Pension Real Estate Association (“PREA”) and was previously a member of the Mortgage Bankers of America (“MBA”), the National Association of Real Estate Investment Trusts (“NAREIT”) and the Real Estate Roundtable.
