TVO Capital Management LLC (“TVO Capital”), which was established in 2010, is the new real estate investment management arm of TVO Groupe LLC (“TVO”), from where all the investment activities of TVO will now be managed. As the dedicated investment management platform of TVO, TVO Capital now brings private equity real estate investment fund management capabilities to the TVO operating platform, which itself has been a highly experienced operating principal and sponsor of investment grade real estate assets since 1983. TVO has been the managing principal and operating partner over the last 18 years, together with leading institutional capital partners, of owned, managed and/or developed property assets located in 21 states of the United States (“US”) with a large concentration in the sunbelt region from Florida to Texas. TVO is a family-owned US real estate investment, development, management and advisory company founded by brothers Wayne A. Vandenburg and Russell A. Vandenburg in 1983.

Serge Desprat Head of Fund Formation and Placement – TVO Capital Management

Serge Desprat is the Head of Fund Formation and Placement for TVO Capital where he is responsible for fund structuring and placement in the international investment markets as well as Head of Investor Relations. Serge has more than 25 years of international experience in private equity and real estate fund placement as well as investment banking. He joined TVO in mid-2010 and is specifically responsible at this time for the formation and placement of TVO Capital Partners US LP, formally the first closed-end investment vehicle to be managed by TVO Capital Management LLC.

Prior to joining TVO Capital Management LLC, Serge was a partner at Europa Partners Limited, a London-based investment banking advisory firm, primarily responsible for worldwide private equity fund placement during 2005-2009. Previously, Serge was, inter alia, Managing Director at EPIC, a Vienna-based Central & Eastern Europe (“CEE”) focused investment bank during the period 2003-2005. He was Director and CEE Financial Services Leader – Corporate Finance at PricewaterhouseCoopers in Prague in 2001-2003 and Senior Banker – Head of Unit, Financial Institutions and Head of Business Development at the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (“EBRD”) during 1993-1998, where he was involved in fifteen principal private equity investment projects and the formation of funds across CEE. From 1988 to 1992, Serge was an investment banker at S.G. Warburg & Co. Ltd in London and Paris focusing on cross-border European mergers & acquisition advisory services. From 1986 to 1987, Serge worked at New York-based Johnson & Higgins as a senior corporate planning analyst. Serge is a member of Paris—based Institut Francais des Relations Internationales, one of the leading international relations “think tanks” since its formation in 1979.

Serge holds a M.B.A. Degree from the Thunderbird School of Global Management (Glendale, Arizona) and a Masters’ Degree in International Relations and Business from the Institut d’Etudes des Relations Internationales (Paris, France). In addition, Serge attended various graduate programs at Harvard University in 1981-1982 as well as a special executive private equity program at Harvard Business School in 2008.
